I think it should start automatically once inserted but if that not working, you may need to reboot after inserted the USB.

Are you trying to keep the USB inserted always and keep the games on the USB (folder name should be retropie-mount), or rather just temporarily copy the games off the USB and onto the internal SD card when you may then remove the USB (folder on the USB should be named simply retropie in this case).

Some systems games (psx for example) do need to be "unpacked" first. You can use a tool like 7-zip or WinRar to unpack the .zip file on your PC. If it unpacks to multiple .bin/.cue files, make sure to include the .cue and all of the .bin file(s) (if there's more than one) when moving them around.

@Saus312 it looks like you're trying to play an arcade or neogeo game using FBNeo. First make sure you have thoroughly read the arcade documentation:

Arcade emulation requires a different approach than console emulation. Please read this entire page before beginning your RetroPie arcade emulation project.

It looks like you might be missing a BIOS file -- we are not able to help you source this file, but we can direct you to look for "full non-merged" rom versions, which should include all the necessary files including any BIOS required.

You can't copy your games directly to the SD card from your Windows system. What you're seeing is just the boot partition, there is 2nd Linux partition on the SD card which is not readable by Windows - this is where the actual OS is installed. To transfer your games over use one of the methods supported - see the documentation.

We don't support 3rd party images, especially the ones loaded with ROMs and sold - RetroPie's image license is specifically non-commercial.
Ask the seller for support.

There's no configuration options for it - the RetroPie usbromservice doesn't copy the splashscreen folder, just the roms and BIOS folders.

You could create a simple shell script that copies the splashscreen folder contents from the USB stick to the corresponding folder in $HOME/RetroPie, then add it in the retropiemenu folder, so you can run it from EmulationStation whenever you want.

monkey has recently found CBSstudio IDE witch can generate BASIC in to a PRG file and that runs the game just fine :) and yes ive found out not to type out with capslock on and ive got some syntax errors in it but using google doc and add-ons ive mannaged to convert it all to lower case and get everything working :)

@mitu thank you for your reply, sorry i was distracted for a few days. I didnt figure out how to make variables work but i was able to make a txt file that i could read/write as a varriable so im good now.

@ShinxtheMorpeko I fixed the problem with not getting into RetroArch. I configured keyboard 2 but it still moved player 1 in Super Bomberman 2.

@mitu Alright thank you so much, I've discovered that the reason that my control only worked on Spider-Man was because that game supported Dualshock and not all ps1 games support Dualshock. What happened is when I went into the options menu, I had the pad type originally on standard and moved it to Dualshock, not all ps1 games are compatible with Dualshock and are only playable through Standard pad type.
